Knudsen Twins are Home

Yep, the twins are officially United States citizens and are now at HOME in IL with Matt [CU' 05] and Emily after a 14+ month adoption process in Guatemala. Bill and I actually get to grandparent in person. Addy and Gabri Knudsen will be visiting Uncle Dan this week and pictures will be posted !!! They are the cutest.

Dan is not back up to his June status physically, but is progressing well, feels much better, and is trying to add 15 minutes each day for being up in his chair, provided that his blood pressure remains stable. His appetite has increased slightly, but best of all, since he feels better, his fun personality is shining through. He's back to teasing and being sarcastic with the therapists and nurses and can't wait to see his twin nieces!!!.

praising God for all the blessings in your family today!

Great to hear that you are getting back to where you left off before the "flap" sugary....you need LOTS of strength to keep up with those little girls, even with wheels!

Keep up the hard work Dan!

Yay for exciting things!
I had to laugh when I read: "his fun personality is shining through" because that's the first thing I thought when I read:
"Dan, how about a PB&J sandwich?" ~(slight look of disgust to me) "NO"
:-D Hehe - I can just see that face!!

I wasn't going to admit this, but Dan, last year at South, you were better at Darren's Dance Grooves than I was. So there it is. (I think we both had mike beat though...)

Hey Dan, I just wanted to let you know that we were thinking about you last night and my whole family just stopped to pray for you. I think about you almost everyday and pray for you just as often.

Also, congratulations to Matt and Emily! I can't even tell you how excited I was when I read the news! I've been praying for you guys, too! Wow! A long, long wait, but your girls are finally here! (and how very cute they are!)

Love, your sister in Christ,
E.S.
