3rd Saturday Updates

  • Jen [Dan's sister] is visiting Cedarville University this weekend.
  • Dan wanted to let his OPE brothers know that he is ready for their visits. Please coordinate with Jeff B. Do I hear road trip to Chicago? (and 'South' and 10-24!!)
  • Thank you to the CU soccer team for providing air transportation for Mike [Dan's twin] to be here on weekends with his brother. He told us last night that he loves being at school, but can't wait to see Dan on the weekends. Pray for Mike to finish this school semester well.
  • Monday will be the first prognosis update from RIC medical teams that are working with Dan.
  • Keep us in your prayers as we process all of Dan's future information.
Have a blessed Palm Sunday. Thinking and loving all of you more than you can know.

Dan, it is awesome to see that you are using your handicapped condition for the Lord. Those of us at Cedarville are continuing to pray for you.

I to let you know that I'm praying for you Dan and your family. Several times a day. My daughter is a student at CU. Many others here in Md are praying also. You are a wonderful testimony to everyone as you stand while facing such adversity. I want to keep asking and asking and asking our Lord to help you. Grace and Peace to you.

All the witnessing you guys are doing through this is AWESOME - I'm convinced there will be people in heaven that wouldn't be there otherwise because you have remained faithful to God through this trial. What a great witness you all have been through this. There will be some day in heaven when someone will look back and say, "If it weren't for Dan and his family, I wouldn't be here." Keep praying! Stay faithful! - Adam in Seattle, BBC/Burien

Could you update us on what Dan's condition is right like now? Is he still paralyzed from the neck down? How's the talking coming along? Please let us know!

Though this might be an encouraging Palm Sunday passage for you:
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.
~Hebrews 12:1-3

Happy Palm Sunday! I'm still praying for all of you all the time.

Hello Dan and Knudsen Family,

We've been keeping up with you all via this blog, and appreciate every update and your willingness to let us all in on your lives. Each prayer request you throw out, gives all of us that are praying, a more specific direction to pray. With that said, I just wanted to let you know that this weekend our church had a woman's retreat and we were all praying for you.

God is using each of you and this situation to further His kingdom.

In His AMAZING love,
Addie Lewis

Just checking in on you. Hope and pray that you are having a great day. Hope that you are able to get some sleep, eat some tasty shakes, laugh a whole lot and most of all feel God's arms around you tighter than ever.

As always, you are in the front of my mind.
