The Collar Is Off

What more can we say?

Dr Gireesan, Dan's neurosurgon, said x-rays of Dan's vertebrae show that the fracture is healed and gave the okay for Dr Tracy, the resident doctor, to take Dan's collar off. DONE!!!

It's time to buff up those neck muscles.

Dan also had an acupuncture session to help alleviate his headaches. They have not been as severe since the wound vac was removed.

Hey Dan,

Nice to see that neck of yours!

Played any scrabble lately? I may have to come down there and start another game.

Lots of love,
Aunt Mary Kay

I hate to ask this question... but my brain is having a hard time remembering...
The collar is off...
the spinal cord is healed???

So is the rehab stay over now?

Will you be doing OT and PT as an out patient?

I guess my question is so what is next?

Thank you for being patient with me and my ignorance as to what the steps are and what is involved.

Rejoicing with your praises, continuing to lift your daily needs to our dear heavenly Father. This morning I read Psalm 25-30 and thought of you especially in Psalm 29:10-11, "The Lord sat as King at the flood; Yes, the Lord sits as King forever. The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bles His people with peace." Praying for continued peace, and strength -- especially in those neck muscles!

In His grip,
Erin Lasky
