Settling In

Dan has now been home just over a week. You can't believe how wonderful this new house is for Dan. He is able to go into every single room and has abundant room in the open kitchen/family room area. Dan had never seen the house until last weekend, and he came in and was able to wheel around the entire kitchen island and move freely about the furniture. It may seem like a little thing to most of us, but having enough room to navigate and not be "stuck" in one spot enables a wheelchair-bound person to feel more "normal." We are greatly blessed. Thank you again Greg and Remington Builders. Most of all, thanks be to our amazing God who provides.

Praising God with you! This is so wonderful. I remember when I first saw Dan after his accident; his big, newly built room in your Geneva home was a praise at that time, and while it was adequate for his care, he was pretty much cut off from the world of his friends and family. They came to him, he didn't go to them. How much things have changed in less than a year. His world has become so much bigger and brighter and more accessible and full of hope. The wonderful, astounding, praiseworthy fact is that you guys didn't wait to trust God until this level of "better." You've praised and trusted Him all along, even in the dark, even when it was crushingly hard, even when you didn't know the better of the pacer and KKI and the room at Cedarville and Garrett and the new home were on the way. What a model of "When you cannot trace His hand, trust His heart!"
Love you.

How wonderful that you are moved in and that the spaces ARE adequate for Dan to be able to wheel around and get to places he couldn't before. We bless God for His provision and His care for details. We're so happy to hear of the wonderful advances that have made life better for Dan and for each of you. Keep up the good work! We continue to pray that God will strengthen Dan's muscles, nerves, everything and that the solder is good. Long story, but for God to continue to heal him.

Love,
Sergio and Janni
